How ZAOstock gets built
Two meetings a day, until the third of October.
There is no sign-up sheet and no committee. If you are building any part of this festival, come to either meeting with the one thing you are working on. Everything decided goes straight into the working document, so missing one costs you nothing.
The two times
Same times, every day.
Midday
11:30 AM
Eastern, every day
What moved since yesterday, and what is stuck. The one that catches problems early enough to fix them.
Evening
5:00 PM
Eastern, every day
For anyone whose day starts after the midday one. Same agenda, later, so nobody has to choose between this and a job.
How they run
Short, and written down.
- Bring one thing
- What you are working on, or the one question stopping you. Half-formed is fine.
- Thirty minutes
- Both meetings are short on purpose. If something needs an hour it gets its own call.
- Typed as we go
- Decisions go into the working document during the meeting, not after, so the document is always what we agreed.
- Nobody is required
- Come when you have something. No attendance, no titles, no tiers.
